Privacy Policy

SmartRegistryAI: Deal Scout ("SmartRegistryAI", "we") is operated by Boyach LLC, Broward County, Florida, USA. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. SmartRegistryAI is offered to people in the United States.

In short: we collect only what we need to run your searches and your account. We don't sell your personal information, we don't use advertising trackers, and we never ask for your Amazon or registry login.

What we collect

You give us

Your email address, to sign you in with an emailed code and to contact you about your account.
Your first name, to address you in the app.
Items you search for: the link you paste and the details you confirm (title, brand, model number, UPC/GTIN, size, color, quantity, the reference price you saw).
If you paste an Amazon product, registry or wish list link: the public details we read from that page (item names, brands, model numbers, UPCs, versions, prices, pictures, and how many of each are wanted and bought).
Results you save, and your feedback, such as marking a result "Not the same item".
Messages you send to support.

Created when you use the service

When each search ran, which sources were searched, what they returned and when, and why each result was or wasn't counted as an exact match.
Your plan, your monthly search count, and, if you subscribe to Plus, your subscription status.
Basic technical logs (such as request time and error codes) that we keep to run and secure the service.

What we don't collect

Passwords. Sign-in uses one-time codes.
Your Amazon, Target, Walmart, Babylist or any other store or registry login.
Card numbers. Payments for Plus are handled by Stripe; we only receive your subscription status and Stripe's customer and subscription IDs.
Your contacts, location, or browsing history on other sites.

How we use it

To sign you in and keep your account secure.
To run the searches you ask for and show you the results.
To enforce plan limits and manage your subscription.
To answer support requests.
To keep the service working, find bugs, and prevent abuse.

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't build marketing profiles.

Who we share it with

Product data sources. To run a search, we send the item's identifiers and details (such as a model number, UPC or size) to approved retailer and product-catalog sources. We don't send your name or email.
Amazon, when you paste an Amazon link. Our servers request that public page from Amazon to read the item details. Amazon sees a request from us, not from you, and we send nothing about you.
Service providers that process data for us under contract: Amazon Web Services (hosting, sign-in and email delivery) and Stripe (subscription payments).
Retailers you choose to visit. When you open a retailer link, you leave SmartRegistryAI and that retailer's own privacy policy applies. Some links are affiliate links; the retailer or affiliate network may set its own cookies to credit the referral. See Disclosures.
When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and service.
If the business changes hands, with the new owner, who must honor this policy.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and storage

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser stores your sign-in session so you stay signed in; signing out removes it. Retailer and affiliate-network cookies may be set only after you click through to their sites.

How long we keep it

Account, search and saved-result data: while your account is open.
After you delete your account: removed within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, billing or legal reasons.
Technical logs: about 30 days.
Support emails: as long as needed to help you, then deleted.

Your choices and rights

You can delete your account and its data at any time in Settings. You can also ask to see, correct, download or delete your personal information by emailing privacy@smartregistryai.click from the email address on your account. Depending on your state (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia), you may have these rights by law; we offer them to everyone. We won't treat you differently for using them. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we answer within 45 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the systems and people who need it. Sign-in codes expire quickly and work once. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as the law requires if a breach affects you.

Children

SmartRegistryAI is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, email privacy@smartregistryai.click and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
